Smallholder farmers across Rwanda and Africa are facing a new foe in their fields: the Fall Armyworm (FAW). It has 4 life cycle stages. Female can lay 1000 eggs at time and only six larval can consumes the most plant material (77%) and causes the most damage.
We support our Women cooperative to monitor Fall Armyworm, by providing a simple tool to inform them when the pest will arrive in their field.
Our Farm-Link Approach help farmers to detect the Pest spreading in their field which will help them to make decision for more control and management and also additional service at the hand of farmers we will make a trusted connection with expert and advisory evaluation and monitoring organization for analyzing the program which is needed to combat Pest.
